Coochie Cove
DESCRIPTION
During this time it can be difficult to get the inspiration to paint. My dear friend Val, who is also an artist, recently moved to Coochiemudlo island, which is situated in the southern part of Moreton Bay Queensland. She sent me a picture she took there, to use as a reference. From this, we decided it would be fun to paint from each other's references, to change things up a bit. I really enjoyed using coloured inks for the abstract background and drawing with watercolour pencils and fine liner ink pens to create this piece.
