DESCRIPTION
We have some lovely magpies that hang around our place. This particular one, inspired me to do this painting. To make their nest, they gather bits of twine, which come from a carving of surf Gods, we have in our garden. The twine is meant to represent their hair, which over the years, has almost disappeared, thanks to these cheeky magpies. Fun to watch, as they carefully pluck out the exact bits they want.
