Joy of Colour

A$1,150.00
sold out

DESCRIPTION

The Holi festival is India's festival of colours. It actually commemorates the victory of good over evil but also to give thanks for an abundant harvest season. I absolutely love the colours and the sheer joy of this colourful festival. The closest I've ever come to personally experiencing something like this, is when I did the "Mother's Day Colour Run," with my daughters a few years ago, here on the coast. It was invigorating, to run through the colours at the finish line! This piece is highly textured, has many lovely coloured glazes and has it's sides painted, sealed and ready to hang. Signed on front.

MEDIUM

Acrylic on stretched Canvas.

SIZE

80cm (W) x 60cm (H) x 3.8cm (D)
