DESCRIPTION
Originally from Melbourne, we spent many weekends exploring Victoria's beautiful walking trails and riverbanks. This impressionistic painting was drawn from my memories, perhaps a combination of several places I have seen over the years. I have used an unrealistic palette, which I feel has romanticized the image. It reminds me of something you would imagine in an enchanted forest of a fairy tale. I have used layers of colourful glazes, to achieve lovely tertiary colours. Sides painted, sealed with satin varnish and ready to hang. Signed on front.
