Life On The Rocks
DESCRIPTION
Inspired by a documentary series I've been watching, on lighthouses. I am in absolute awe of these incredible structures, how they were built and the part they have played in maritime history, worldwide. I was so fascinated with the keepers and the fact that they were able to commit to their life's work, in such isolated and sometimes very solitary conditions. This work has some very heavy textures, with palette knife application, so please allow another fortnight of drying time.
