Irresistible Irises

A$450.00

DESCRIPTION

It's the little things in life, the everyday things we all take for granted, that sometimes give us the most joy. In this impressionistic painting, my intention was to express this concept. The subject is crouched in the garden, taking in the perfume of freshly cut irises. Her facial expressions suggest pleasure, or perhaps she is transported back to a special memory, as the sense of smell can often do. A poignant piece, both peaceful and melancholic. Requires framing. here

MEDIUM

Acrylic on 300 GSM acid free paper, sealed with UV protective varnish.

SIZE

27cm (W) x 39cm (H) x 0.1cm (D)
