Forest Escape
DESCRIPTION
This artwork was inspired by my love for painting trees and nature. It is an impressionistic painting of a forest, set on a colourful floral carpet. It has a muted, blue backlight, which creates a magical ambience. It looks as though a soft mist is starting to creep through the trees. I have used layers and layers of transparent coloured glazes to achieve a lovely rainbow effect. Beautifully framed in a flat black frame with a wide double mounting mat. ( see images) The entire measurements of framed work are 97.4cm x 72.3cm x 3.8cm.
