Where to Now 1 2 & 3 Triptych

A$990.00

DESCRIPTION

Where To Now 1,2 & 3 came about as a way of expressing my feelings, observing the frustration and confusion felt by a loved one, suffering dementia. This was such a painful experience and expressing the emotions through art, was a way of working through the emotion. In the first painting‚ the pathways are up and down and topsy-turvy‚ there is lack of direction and no relief. The second painting‚ the staccato stokes and manic movements express the anxiety and dilemma experienced‚ when memories are scrambled. The third and final abstract, has a softer mood and expresses the quieter times‚ when the mind pauses to rest and fears are temporarily set aside. These works would look lovely framed together behind glass with a mat board.

MEDIUM

Acrylic on artist quality paper, sealed, unframed.

SIZE

57cm (W) x 78cm (H) x 0cm (D)
