DESCRIPTION
Inspired by a friend's photo which she had taken and potsed a couple of years ago. I was instantly drawn to the contrast of the bright red berries amongst the tangled thorny branches. With permission to use her reference, I began the piece but somehow, I got sidetracked and it was set it aside. Current world events inspired me to revisit it, with much more enthusiasm. I hope wherever you are Shima, you are safe and this heartfelt piece does your beautiful image justice.
