DESCRIPTION
This dreamscape is inspired by my family history. My parents were Italian immigrants, who, with their two daughters in tow, came out to Australia when they were in in their mid twenties. Being born in Australia, I heard many stories about my parent's beloved homeland. It was during my last visit to Italy, that I came across a monument, dedicated to Italian's that made the journey across the globe and settled in Australia. Perhaps it was this very vision, that inspired this artwork of a family, hovering over a rugged Australian landscape.
