Five Pears, Still Green

A$580.00
sold out

DESCRIPTION

This still life painting was inspired by the fact that we recently did our first on-line supermarket shop, due to isolation. These five pears, arrived so firm and green they almost appeared artificial. Each day I walk past the fruit bowl, give them a little squeeze and mutter, "still green." I eventually came to the conclusion that they may never ripen but decided they would be a great reference for a still life, hence the title.

MEDIUM

Acrylic on heavy bodied artist’s paper, Sealed withUV protective varnish, requires framing.

SIZE

48.5cm (W) x 34cm (H) x 0.01cm (D)
