DESCRIPTION
There is a saying, 'Queensland, beautiful one day, perfect the next,' but we do get our fair share of rain, and when it rains, it pours. My sister and her husband were staying on the coast earlier this year and struck a few days of being rained in. This was the view from their balcony, of the Norfolk pines, lined up along the Broadwater. It inspired me to paint this miniature, using heavy bodied acrylic with palette knife application.
