Living Lotus
DESCRIPTION
The lotus flower symbolises purity, enlightenment and regeneration. I think the fact that these beautiful plants grow in muddy waters is quite astonishing. Like so many artists, I can't resist them as a muse for my paintings. I have used bold, deep colours, which have given the piece a beautiful rich feel.
