DESCRIPTION
I can't resist painting the wonderful textures, lights and shadows that occur in a beautiful country setting. Originally, there were no birds in the reference, but I decided they added life to the piece, as well as a lovely focal point. I enjoyed using heavy bodied paint with both palette knife application and some brushwork.
