DESCRIPTION
This intricate painting was a real labour of love. It has so many elements and characters, at times it felt like a puzzle coming together. The story evolves around the bakery, with the shop assistant and baker in the kitchen and his baked goods in the shop window. There are some locals coming and going, some enjoying coffee & cake at the tables, in the paved village square, speckled in dappled light from the big old tree that frames the square. I loved creating the surrounding quaint old buildings with their windows dressed in colourful awnings. Requires Framing.
