Why So Koi
DESCRIPTION
This painting is a collaboration between myself and fellow Bluethumb artist and my personal friend of many years, Valerie Eugarde. Valerie began the piece, with a beautifully textured and highly coloured abstract. She gave me free rein and as I am currently loving painting koi fish, it was a given, that they would be at least part of the subject matter! Of course, they've had to share the limelight with a mysterious mermaid wearing her octopus headdress! This was a delight to create for both Valerie and myself. The piece can hang in both landscape and portrait position and will be signed by both artists on the back of the canvas. Sides painted, sealed with Uv protective varnish and ready to hang.
